Healthwork apprentice scheme

03/09/2013

Healthwork has recently employed three apprentices in Manchester as part of the Healthwork apprentice and community scheme.

We have a strong commitment to the local community and we believe that apprenticeships make business sense.  We are delighted and excited by our apprentice scheme and hope to expand it to our Leeds office in due course.

“We definitely see a huge value in taking on apprentices.” says Julie Roberts - Healthwork Office Manager.

“We benefit from having a really committed young person who we can provide high quality training to.  We are hoping that our apprentices stay with us for many years and can teach the next generation.  So far, the scheme has worked very well and the apprentices are flourishing at healthwork and have become popular and valued members of our expanding team”

Our apprentices recieve on the job training and are released to attend their formal day release courses.

We believe that it is important to invest in the local community and we see the apprentice scheme as the start of our commitment to investing in local communities.
