Fit notes – detailed guidance published 19/02/10

Detailed guidance on the fit note for employers and GPs has beeen published today (19th February 2010). This guidance has been created by the Department of Work and Pensions with the Royal College of General Practitioners, the British Medical Association, CBI, ACAS, Federation of small businesses, CIPD, Association of British Insurers, British Retail Consortium, and EEF.
